Prospero is an action-adventure computer game developed by Valve Software in the late 1990s, but never released [1]. The game was to become the second project of the company and come out soon after the release of the first Half-Life [2] [3] [4] [5].
The game had to have an intricate plot, and the gameplay had to be focused on the exploration of the game world using “psi-abilities”. The creation of the game Valve was inspired by the game Myst 1993 and the works of Jorge Luis Borges [1]. The main character, known as "Aleph" or "Librarian" (eng. The Librarian), changed several times during the early stages of development. One of the options suggested that she used some "psi amplifiers" to increase her innate abilities.
