Congratulations for your first jam, your game is awesome! The art style of the cover and game is a bit different, but I really like your style.
I like the depth of the game mechanics, the power-ups, the healing system, the destroyable projectiles.
The level itself felt a little bit long though. I was eager to see the boss and finally, when I reached it, it turned out to be a deadly encounter.
The movement of the player character also felt a little bit slow, maybe because of her size.
One funny moment was when I caught the life-saving health pack outside of the screen because I was able to almost completely leave the screen on the left side. Generally, I try to avoid any interaction outside the camera bounds, but I appreciated it this time.
But other than these the whole game felt very complete, stable and balanced. I hope you will extend it a little after the jam. I would really like to see what else had in your mind that you haven't got time to develop during these 3 days.
(I liked that you also streamed the whole development process, but I think something was wrong with your microphone because all I heard was loud static noises.)
Great game! I love the different weapons and the bonus system.
I have no idea what the game was supposed to be, but now its a shoot em up!
The game includes three different bullet types, a variety of enemies and wave patterns, and a final boss! I didn't have much time to work on the difficulty so it might be unbalanced at times TuT...
To move: WASD, Arrow keys or controller joystick
To shoot: space bar, mouse click or A on the controller
The pause button works, you just have to press it three times!
If there are any other bugs, don't be afraid to tell me :3
For the #badboxart2018 game jam! A three-day jam!
This is my first game jam so I'm excited and nervous!
This is the box art I chose <3
