This is a very cool game! I really like the enemy bullet patterns, and the reverse mechanic is a blast to use! I haven't seen any other shmups with this mechanic and I think you could evolve this into a really interesting finished game after the jam!
Additionally, having the combination of targeted attacks and random patterns is interesting and works quite well to amp up the difficulty without overwhelming the player. Nice work on the weapon upgrades, too. Overall, an extremely fun game with lots of potential!
Interesting mechanic. It is possible to cheese at the moment by tapping shift as the meter refills at the same rate it depletes.

You - Space Special Force - are the only hope. Your enemy is going to destroy the world using the strange power of dimension, but your spaceship also has the ability to switch space between matter and antimatter. Only you can defeat them!

1 player mode :
Up : W or Arrow Up
Down : S or Arrow Down
Left : A or Arrow Left
Right : D or Arrow Right
Attack : Space or Enter
Switch Space : Shift
(warning: even though your ship can switch space, it is limited. Be careful with energy remaining.)
2 player mode :
player 1 : WASD + Space
player 2 : Arrow key + Enter
