All monsters are born with strange anomalies. Alongside flesh-and-blood bodies, and the soul traits of humans, these anomalies grant monsters one unique, non-magic ability that greatly boosts them in one area of expertise, whether it be combat, day-to-day living, or financially. Because of this, they win the Great War between humans and monsters, sealing humanity underground, and instilling a law that states that all underground-dwelling humans who tresspass on the surface must die.
