I did the annoying part for you. I organized the files and set up the structure so you don't have to. But I'm not doing everything.
The Big Catch

YOU NEED YOUR OWN DATA.RSDK. I’ve only set up the folders and prepared the files. You need to grab the Data.rsdk from the official mobile version of Sonic 1 yourself. If you try to run this without it, nothing is going to happen.
How to get it running

Dump everything in this zip into a folder.

Get your legal copy of Sonic 1 from your phone.

Rip the Data.rsdk out of it.

Drop that file into the folder with the exe.

Stop asking questions and just play.
