What do you think?

Good game !
The graphics are really good, and the gameplay feels good.
Your AI system also works really nice (it's fun to let monsters chase you into the city and see them fight the guards and stuff).
From what i saw so far i think it's one of the best games on this site !
I'm also using Unity, and I would love to know which effects / shaders and stuff you used to make the black outline for the characters (if you can share this info, if not it's cool).
Great game man !

I like the idea that the game doesn't wait for you, I'd expect that to make the world feel more alive. It'd be cool if some npc got impatient and headed into a dungeon themselves, and it would super cool if you could head in after them and show up late to help them - like you'd find them in the middle of the dungeon working their way through it.

I assume though that not every quest wouldn't "wait" for you. There'd surely be some quests that by their nature you could put off for as long as you like.

Also, would npcs always be in quest-doing mode? Or would you only activate their quest by talking to them? In other words, would they only go on without you if you activated the quest first, or would they do these quests regardless of whether or not you talked to them? - like, from the moment you started the game the npcs autonomously do what they have to do. The latter would be cool , but could be really hard to manage for the player - it'd be pretty overwhelming. Oh, and it'd be cool if you could anticipate an npc's plans - they might journey into a dungeon to find that you've already plundered it, and that might radically change the course of their "plan". I don't know it could get pretty complex, but I'm just spitballing.

Would you think about incorporating any Majora's Mask type mechanics? Or would that be a bit of a cop out?

Hi everybody! this is an rpg i stopped making 2 or 3 months ago because i though it was too big to be done alone, so i am uploading what i had to see if you like the idea and would like me to keep working on it

The basic idea of the game is to make time an important mechanic, world events depends on time, npcs wont wait forever for you to come do something for them and may try to do it themselves (possibly getting killed xD), story wont wait for you to finish grinding in some goblin cave... those are just some of the ideas

Features so far (very far from what i want to achieve)

  • Basic Combat system

  • Inventory and magic

  • Time is already programmed but only change you will see right now is day and night

  • Dialogue and Quest system (a few tests in this version)

  • Controller support (no button/sensibility config yet)

I forgot what else it had...

Ok so... i would like to see opinions, bug reports (this helps me catch up where i stopped), would you like to see more?

Basically say whatever you want, i want to see if someone is actually interested in this or not... its a lot of work if i really want to finish it xD (i really want to but... as human beings we got a time limit in our lives xD)

Controls

move wasd
inventory i
menu esc
use/talk... e
Melee attack left click
Use Skill Right click

Set skills are used with 1,2,3,4

Controller controls... just try your buttons, its pretty standar , to select skills you use the d-pad

WARNING READ! i got your attention? good, the save system works... but there is no respawn yet so... dont save when you are dead xD. There really isnt much to do so... you dont even need to save

I added a mac version... i dont have a mac so i probably wont be able to help troubleshooting, if someone with mac could test it, tell me if it works!

No credits in game yet so...
