"Welcome to Afton's Diner."

You've just moved to a new town, and you stumble across a local Pizza Parlour and Entertainment Centre, and they have a Job Vacancy. After your last job fell through and your luck has been down, the requirements for this job look promising, but isn't it weird that it seems they'll hire anybody?

The game follows Andrew Millsworth, the new hire at Afton's Diner in Sioux Falls, SD. Afton's Diner is home to 2 animatronic characters, Fredwin and Billy, who sing and crack jokes to entertain all the local families. The novelty of Afton's died off quite a bit in the later years, and by 1979 the place was basically empty half the time. Attendance dropped further when it became rumor that a devil-worshipping cult was using their storage facilities to perform rituals and sacrifices. This rumor basically ruined Afton's, and it seems the owner, Martin Afton, has gone completely radio silent since it hit mainstream news. It's your job to make sure nothing enters or exits the building, and don't try to go looking for anything, just do your job and leave, they will know.

Use your survival skills and fend off from the blood-hungry Animatronic characters. How do they move at night? I guess we'll never know. You have a few sparce tools at your disposal, a monitor for viewing the Security Camera System, which barely works, a flashlight for checking those dark areas in your office, and a backup generator in your office for when the dodgy power system finally fails. Watch the cameras to make sure the Animatronics stay where they are, and if power goes out, you have to make sure you reboot the generator as fast as possible, as it takes a little bit of time to turn back on.
