Sonic2.exe Remake (ALL CHAPTERS)

I'm gonna be honest with you. I only finished chapter 2 cause chapter 1's boss is just terrible, half of the things instakill you and Zalgo speeds up and slows down whenever he feels like. With chapter 3 I was just done and didn't bother. The engine is terrible and just does not play well, it controls really slippery. On top of that the game constantly mixes artstyles between sonic 2 8 bit, sonic 1 and sonic 3. I don't get the artstyle clash ngl. It just makes it worse.

For some reason the game doesn't start, I don't understand why.

Ok, I have to be honest because I lost 30 minutes of my life in a 5 minutes demo. The scenery is almost identical, I don't like that in remakes, I download remakes because I want to see a renewed version of the classics. The skip button doesn't work, those are some hot 3 minutes of intro I can't skip after re-entering the game. The easter egg was funny, but you know what's not funny? :) HAVING TO RESTART THE GAME BECAUSE IF I WANT TO GET OUT OF THE DIALOGUE I HAVE TO RESTART THE GAMEEEEEEE(PD, I'm back from watching a video and it was because I pressed other keys and that moved tails out of the trigger). The controls are laggy, they made me die and I had to eat another 3 minutes of intro, speaking of it, when I had the cutscene to Last Chance act 6, I pressed every button to make it go faster which made Tails escape the cutscene and the game softlocked. My last complaint is that this is just a demo I was expecting a whole remake of the whole game. I mean, I understand why is this but I feel very disappointed. Bonus nitpick, adding Squimpus McGrimpus' image of the worker inside Fredbear completely unedited was very lazy. I want you to put at least some edition if you are not gonna remaster your screamers/jumpscares. Anyways if you took all of this with a sense of critism and anger with no hate implied, I am next to tell you what I liked: -The level intros are way better than the original version. -The quality of video is overall better. -The easter egg is a nice touch. -The game over detail is a big plus. -Now that I watched the actual game again, you made a good job extending the the sonic part, although if I didn't miss it, Robotnik's corpse is nowhere to be seen. I know my review is very harsh but I think you shouldn't ignore it if you want a better receivement, you have the right vision for this remake, but you need to make sure people can't stray from the intended path so easily and for the love of god, please fix the "skip" button at the beginning.
