How did you make this soo fast? I found this in the spoopy game jam
played the game for a bit and i have to say that it's very fun!) a very nice, little game reminiscne of the good-old flash games with a simple, but very addictive gameplay and a cool idea behind it that is very well-executed!) the game fits the spooky month perfectly - especially the background music that adds a lot to the overall experience!) i also love the fact that the more bugs your spider eats, the more bloated and evil in appearance he becomes - i once got to my high score (1590) without spreading webs and the eyes on my spider just became two narrow red lines!)
my only complaint is that the game doesn't give any explanation to the player about the controls or the game's rules, aside from the gamejolt's description for the game - it would be nice if in the title screen aside from the play button there was a menu to explain the controls, but, aside from that, i have no problems with the game! it performs very well and i haven't found a single bug while playing, so, good job on that, 10xyzCoder!)
overall, the game is mad fun - the high score system is also much appreciated - once i saw that the high score was something like 1410 i decided to beat it, and i did!) the graphics are pretty simple, but still very effective - i can distinguish every bug from each other, and their different movement patterns also help to add more variety to the gameplay, which, in turn, makes it all the more fun!) 10xyzCoder, you did a great job, and i wish you best of luck in your future endeavors!) take care!
How to Play :
Move the Spider with your Mouse, the further the mouse, the Faster He goes
How Space while on a Web (White) to make a web wherever you go!
You move fast on webs, but slow on Ground.
On the Ground, you lose your HP and energy.
You need energy to make webs
the More webs you make, the more energy is used up!
Your Energy can be determined by how fat the Spider is!
Your HP is Displayed on a Bar.
Slowly, you Regen health while on webs but you lose Energy slowly everywhere!!

Insects:
Eat Insects to Earn Points and Energy
Insects Move Slower in your Webs, but they damage your Webs when stuck in them!
(ProTip: Insects give as much points when eaten as energy!)
Fly : The Basic Insect, Moves Fast, and Gives 10 points
Bee : A Faster Version of The Fly, has a Deadly Stinger, Don't try to eat it from the Back or it'll sting you, Don't let it Bite your Back either! Gives 20 points
DragonFly : A Crazy Variant of the Fly, Moves with no directional Sense and is fast in your webs. Gives 30 points
Mosquito : The Smartest and Most Annoying Insect Around, They are very hard to kill and If they are close and they are pointing towards your back, they can even leech HP from you! Awards 40 points upon Consumption
Butterfly : The Most Stupid Insect (And the Most Beautiful too!) They Fly without Directional Sense, although they are very slow. They give 50 points!
Moth : They award 60 points when eaten. They are basically Butterflies but are scared of the mouse pointer. If your Mouse gets too Close to them, they will run away from it!
