I think, this game is actually... pretty good! I like the graphics, and the story adds to the the atmosphere a lot (the conversations are pretty funny here and there).
My only problem is, that there is way too little gameplay compared to the story. I mean the player spend much more time reading the dialogs, than playing the actual game. Which is a little bit strange if you think about, what type of game is this - it's a shoot 'em up. I use to care much more about exploring the story of games, but here even I thought, this was... odd(?)
Anyway, I hope tthis last part didn't look like a rant - or something like that. The good parts of the game (graphics, dialogs, story) are obviously still good and enjoyable
Even though its short, it has a great story, and has a lot of potential to be a really good game.
Stardome is a story-driven retro space shooter, made with love for the classic bullet-hell, with a fresh look powered by Unity. Currently under development, it's free for anyone that wants to check it out and support either by sharing or donating to the project are deeply appreciated, not to mention the feedback from my fellow players and other developers that help me always improve my creations.
The story of the game was written by a great friend of mine who's also an excellent writer, Apius Escobar, one of the best writers I've had the pleasure to meet and who could instantly capture the concept of the game while imprinting his own style, contributing immensely to the world-building that surrounds not only Stardome, but other related projects as well, such as Idle Space Miner 2.
Hope you enjoy the concept and remember that I'm always open to criticism, don't be shy :) #story #retro #shooter #action #rpg #arcade #adult #scifi #space #dreamhackjungle

Developing Stardome is one of the most thrilling #gamedev adventure! Since the prototype was first released, I improved it a lot, but there's still much to come, so I appreciate each and everyone of you that have been following and playing it :)
