Luigi's older brother went missing years ago.
The last Luigi heard from him was that he had ordered a copy of Super Mario Bros for a small price, and Luigi never saw him again. He decided to try to find the game console by digging through brother's old belongings. Once he found and launched the game, everything became clear.
This is was a big mistake...
