What do you think?

Awesome

Everyone worries about not having enough food, but what if you had to worry about having too MUCH food? Welcome to Sweet Land, where everything is sugary sweet food. Gingerbread houses, mountains of ice cream and pies - and a wide array of critters that would love to have you over for dessert - so they can feed you! In this adventure, follow pastry baker Cherrelle as she wrangles some of the most glucose-filled beasts to ever come out of the oven. You must resist the urge to eat them all, or you'll be one blob of a fox! Defend yourself with an icing blaster, and whatever other sweet recipes you come across!

This demo has four stages out of the planned sixteen. Default controls are arrow keys for movement, Z to jump, and X to attack. Hold down the button for a charge shot. You can also edit the controls, and there's support for gamepad functionality as well.

All music, aside from the title screen, was made by Kevin MacLeod of Incompetech.com. For full credits, see the in-game Sound Test.

Special thanks to GooBlueBerry for his assistance with animations.

Quick update, as I did with my other game. A bug involving one of the weapons and a bug involving stage select have been fixed. Be sure to inform me of any other issues, and I'll fix them as soon as I can.

Another quick update fixing some more issues, special thanks to anyone commenting with bug reports, it helps out tremendously. Also updated the music for the final stages with the version of the song I put on Youtube. You can redownload any time you want.

Re-uploaded the latest build. Several bugs were spotted that stemmed from differences between GMS1 and GMS2 - there were more of them than I thought. If you re-download the latest build they should be fixed now. Thank you for the bug reports and enjoy!

Update added! I have imported the game into GMS2, which solves a frame rate issue I personally was having. If any further issues appear, please let me know!

Hello again! Version 1.1 just went up. There have been some minor improvements to stages, enemies, and art, and an all-original soundtrack has been added. You can listen to some of the tunes on the main page. Enjoy~!
