Alpha (v0.1) is going to be released soon, so read this before complaining:
TD2DRedux features authoritative multiplayer architecture, which means that player's movement is controlled by the server and replicated/predicted on the client side. In fact, this was the main idea of the project. The current state of networking is acceptable, and input prediction is coming soon.
The game was in development for 2 years and some parts of the game may function poorly due to some old code.
Modding SDK is going to be released when the stable v1.0 comes out.
My Player physics framework is ass and I can't disagree with it. It was much better a while ago, but it's kinda ruined now with the amount of patches was applied to it. But don't worry, some day it will be fixed.
v0.1 will feature some amount of server located in Siberia. This is not enough and I encourage you to host your own servers. Experimental NAT-punchthrough connection mode will be available for hosts that can't have publicly accessible IP addresses. But you can still play via ZeroTier, RadminVPN or similar software.
v0.1 will not include following murderers: Chaos, Sonic.EXE.
v0.1 will include all survivors from td2d and also extra 2 survivors.
v0.1 will not include every map from td2d, but most of them and some extra custom maps.
v0.1 will include following game modes: Survival (standard 1vsAll gamemode), Double Trouble, Hemorrhage, Hardcore, Deathmatch, Tag and 1 secret gamemode which is a figment of my sick imagination.
Remastered version of "Sonic.exe: The disaster 2D Remake" (which is a remake of OutLaik's 3D roblox game).
Why in the world The 2D Remake needs a remastered version? Well, it's complicated. I'm not trying to drag attention from The 2D Remake, just want to make a better version of the game.
The game is not a mod. This is a standalone game made in Godot Engine 4, written on my own physics framework.
