What do you think?

45 minutes of game-play and only reached the second boss so far. Very excited to pick this back up tomorrow and see where the story goes! :3

Defiantly hits me with nostalgia, although my fingers cramp up on the keyboard (though I could just suck at keyboard movement ) definitely has improved with the updates. Also end boss is too easy (took an entire week to get skilled enough to kill boss). A co-op would be cool......

Overview:

Your ship has just been sucked through a wormhole, and your warp core has blown out! Can you make the perilous Ten Lightyear journey back home in this vertical scrolling shooter?

Currently, the game is semi-stable, and I update it relatively often, so check back every now and again to ensure you're not missing any updates or bug fixes!

Features:

  • 75 Levels

  • 15 Boss Battles

  • Keyboard and GamePad Support

  • Upgrades for your ship

Made by me, The_Scientist___. I spent a rather long time making everything and, as such, hope you enjoy!

Sorry about all this, but turns out there were a few other bugs. I've fixed them, and hopefully I won't need to release two updates only 1 day apart again...

While it has been tough, we're still alive and still active, so when it came to our attention that a bug was in Ten Lightyears, we fixed it.

GameMaker Studio 2 did go through a major update, so let us know if there are any more unforeseen issues.

Just some small tweaks: Version 2.8.2

Added a restart option in the pause menu

Added healthbars for some of the minibosses

Reduced the lasers on the third boss

The Final Destination: Version 2.8.1

There's a bit too much to write here, so I'll put in the article below.

However, the update itself:

Adds more lasers to boss 14

Fixes the giant laser in the final boss

Version 2.8.0 is Released!

It's been a while, but we hope you like this slightly large-ish update:
