I like the story but the walking mechanic's really killed. You have a good mind for writing.
Having lived in a small village, poor and bored, you are unsatisfied with the living conditions, and wish to go across the Chasm and get yourself a better life in the Nobles' Land. Fix up the old catapult and see where it takes you!
