What do you think?

I highly support this... Very accurate and original graphisms.

Seems like I'm gonna be one of a few to not find this game so great.

To start off, I'll mention what I like about this game:
The art style is original, the message is conveyed at the end when you have already tasted what it is like to not be able to survive, which gives it a little bit more weight, since you are almost forced to empathy, good job. Besides I also like the rather innocent illustration, of how a shark looses their fin.

Now to the problem: The game seems to be designed around the idea that the player will loose either way at the end, where you are also shown the amount of time it took you to "beat" the game. The problem with that is, that the game's ~60s long, if we assume, that a player plays the game twice, before moving on. Such a short time span is worth nothing if your primary goal, is to raise the awareness of this issue, unless, like commercials, you'd somehow be able to lure the player into repeated playthroughs, in multiple sittings.

Now, the "gameplay": I have no idea how I controlled the shark; I felt like Iwas pressing the "close door" button in the elevator, meaning that I couldn't tell at all what consequences my actions had. This gave me the vibe of being in a movie or little flash film, as a viewer not an actor.
Perhaps this was intentional, but in the end, I merely want to point out that the gameplay was unoriginal, uninspired and the only thing that kept me going was that, I literally couldn't stop.

That was a large wall of text, but I hope my feedback helps you improve, since that is what we all want here, right ?

I love this game. That message tho... never ate sharks fin soup, nor will I ever. :)

I love your games <3

Love the graphics and point of this game. Very well done. I included it in part 1 of my Global Game Jam 15 compilation video series! http://youtu.be/n6P5yiBqORk

Made for Global Game Jam #ggj15, with the theme: "What do we do now?"

In our Game at first you play the role of a "Predator" the shark. You are quick, strong and agile. But then the "predator" becomes the "prey". The Shark's fin is taken away from it and thrown back into the ocean. Without it's fin it can no longer properly swim or hunt. What awaits it is just starvation, drowning and death.

Every year over 100 millions of Sharks die due to finning.

What do we do now?

Pledge to stop buying, eating and selling Sharks Fin.

If there are no consumers there will be no poachers.

Change starts with you.

What do 'you' do now?
