What do you think?

This one is great! But damn hard, hehe

Story:
You play a young adventurer that has accidentally fallen into a well. The good news is that there is a passageway leading into a conveniently placed dungeon. The bad news is that it is filled with deadly spike traps! Navigate the dungeon to find your way out and earn your freedom.

Development:
I have always wanted to enter a Ludum Dare, but 48 hours would not be enough time for me to make a game considering the amount of experience I had. This was kind of a test run, or practice. I decided to challenged myself to make a complete game within a week, and this is what I came up with. The experience has been extremely useful to me, and has helped me learn how to produce a simple engine for a simple game. On top of that, I have base code for future games such as the game loop, the resource handling, and the sound handling. If you want to find out more about my progress, read some of my development logs!

Multiplayer:
I have recently added a multiplayer feature into the game. This was largely experimental for my next project, so I did not spend a lot of time fixing the bugs. For example, in certain situations where two players collide with each other, both are sent flying into the air through walls (both objects try to correct the collision simultaneously). For this reason, I have added a suicide button (“R”).

To get multiplayer to work, make sure the host computer has windows firewall turned off, and port forwarding is set up to port 25555 (if not playing over a local area network). One computer must click multipalyer, host server, then enter a username. All the other players joining the server then have to click multiplayer, join server, enter the ip address, then enter a username.
