Robot 98 Battle - Demo 2.1
Includes the first 8 attacks, and the whole overworld area.

An Undertale battle based off the scrapped NPC, Robot 98. Being of my own interpretation of what a fight would look like, as a semi-CORE secretive boss before MTT EX.
Is made in the Undercreator framework created by the lovely @SilUT
.
You can get it here: https://gamejolt.com/games/undercreator/813146 Which is what you need to play the battle in the first place.
Features:
16 attack waves.
A narrative driven Pacifist/Neutral fight. (As of 1.0.0 you have to kill it sadly, but sparing will be available in the future.)
A quirky TTS robot due to Undercreator not having proper dialogue yet for encounters, thus voice lines are used to get around that!
And more!
Lore:
Path to Robot 98:
You’re on a fairly normal Neutral run of Undertale and you reach the CORE. There is a split path way to proceed and you choose to do the Warriors Path, you clear it and then head back down, but then as you get to the center room you stop and take a moment to go think that maybe the Warriors Path room is hiding something, after all those mercenaries couldn’t just come from nowhere.
So you go back and investigate and discover that a new bridge way appeared leading up north, you then find out about a different part of the CORE you never saw before and eventually you come across an ominous room, and what lies at the end of it surprises you as it reactivates from a deep hibernation.
Robot 98 Information:
Was partially built from a Windows 95 PC found in the Waterfall dumps, explaining his Microsoft Sam voice that was used to test TTS on robot prototypes.
Was built to be a highly durable communication robot for protection in the underground and sometimes used for magic testing.
Was also created around the time the CORE was being planned out and eventually newer more fleshed out models would be created by W. D Gaster alongside others, meaning Robot 98 had less and less use.
At some point they were deactivated and then stored in a dark CORE room along with other deactivated robots of its type.
When reactivated by the human, the only memories in their database is when they were still patrolling Hotland when the CORE was starting to be built, they are also in a rusted and degraded state.
They become adamant about the human’s capture and detainment once determining they are one and is programmed to stall as long as possible or try to knock the human out if possible, plans fail however and it eventually realizes the state it’s in before peacefully running out of battery power, thanking the human that can choose to destroy them or not.
