And that's all i could find in Chapter 1. I will continue tomorrow with Chapter 2.

I would have never guessed anyone else remembered IAT besides me, much less had the motivation to create a remake. The FNaFb fandom's remaining vestiges manage to produce the most unexpected of revelations, truly. I applaud you for this, and I have a few things to say about your project after having played through it.

I do not intend to be rude, but it is my opinion that this project is inferior to the original game (when comparing the first two chapters). Some of the changes and additions of this remake just detract from the experience.

As an example, Springtrap's dialogue has been altered in some places, and those changes have less personality in my opinion. For instance, his "Pardon?" line when conversing Balloon Boy is delivered flatly, while it had the proper intonation of curiosity in the original. It isn't that big of a deal, but it's just something I noticed as someone who was fond of IAT.

Next, the changes to the combat overall make the game easier and less balanced. Using the secret boss of chapter 1 for instance, the fight was much easier and required no strategy. The biggest changes that caused this are the nerfing of support moves, drastically increasing the damage of offensive moves (at least for this early point in the game), and making the items much stronger. The strategy for the original lizard fight was relying on keeping its damage and defense debuffed while buffing your own stats since it hit hard and your attacks couldn't break its defense unless buffed. The limited effect of the items you had also made it a battle of attrition unless you overprepared and farmed a lot. In the remake of the lizard fight, all I had to do was spam Somnous Strike, Medium Pizzas, and Medium Sodas (items I had plenty of by just opening the chests throughout the sewer). I only died once because I didn't know what to expect with its charging move.

It could be argued that the overworld is improved, but I honestly preferred the original. Chapter 1 felt more cramped, decrepit, and claustrophobic in the original, while the remake's version felt like a generic rpg maker dungeon. Chapter 2's facility wasn't that special in the original, but it was definitely atmospheric. The remake's version felt inconsistent (minecart out of nowhere for example) and oversized. Shadow Bonnie is also way too easy to spot in the remake unlike in the original.

Lastly, I just do not like the Turdly Jr. replacement. It isn't funny, has poor synergy with Springtrap, and isn't Turdly Jr. I appreciate the attempt at taking things a bit more seriously, but this is still a FNaFb game.

Those are my main complaints. I apologize for having mostly negative things to say; nonetheless, I look forward to seeing the progress you make with this. Best of luck to you.

Finished playing the demo, giving it 8/10

  • I like the idea of leveling up is limited from Chapter to Chapter

  • EXP and Token gains seems reasonably high, atleast in this demo. As a form of suggestion, i could suggest to lower those by a small bit of amount, so it could make the game more fun and challenging compared to the original.

  • I found a script error about Active Whip, it suddently crashes the game when attempting to check it's further informations by holding D via inventory.

I got the feeling that the full game will be promising in the near future, keep up with the good work!

Damn, this sh- is going to be crazy.

STORY

Springtrap is on a crusade to achieve terminal debauchery, but what's this? Things did not go exactly as planned? Welp, looks like Springtrap ends up in one hell of a wacky adventure. With, probably a little bit of time f**kery oh his side. Will he survive the ordeal and hopefully obtain his desired "debauchery"? Maybe. We'll wait and see.

FEATURING

  • Completely redone maps

  • Rebalancing

  • One new weapon type!

  • Music specifically used in IAT returns, joining them are new tracks that replaces music tracks that were from the FM trilogy!

  • More versatile crafting! (finally, for f**k's sake)

  • Properly-sized lizard!
