Tincha
What is this?
Tincha is my personal mash‑up of real‑time gashapon hype and light tycoon strategy. You play in the browser. Pull a capsule, get an item or a resident, then use that loot to build small shops that stay in a living city even after you close the tab.
Is it finished?
I wish :D, this is a huge project with a lot of areas out of my comfort zone, but it's slowly coming together.
What you have so far?
Register/login (email and google)
Multiple gashapon machines with set prizes
Play at each machine and get prizes. If more than a player wants to use a machine at a time, the second one waits in a queue and watches what the first one collects.
Last prize at each machine is the best prize available for that machine
Machine info with each prize probabilities
Prizes are categorized into walls, zones, characters, decorations, blueprints and permits
If you combine a permit and a blueprint you can open a business. The type of business is determined by the permit and the size of the plot is set by the blueprint. For example a pizzeria permit + a 2x3 blueprint will let you build a pizzeria with 6 zones
A zone is a building block that has a role and slots. For example, a pizza oven has a kitchen role and has a slot for a chef
Walls are similar to zones, but cover walls :D
Characters have different traits that helps them (or not) on each role
Each permit has a minimum set of covered roles in order for the business to be open. For example, a pizzeria needs, as minimum, a kitchen, a chef, a door, a table and a waiter.
The combination of walls, zones, characters and decorations will give your business a rating. Rating will determine something (TBD :D)
Then, what's left?
The business editor is still in progress
Add more collaboration
Visit your friends businesses
Iterate some functional but ugly pieces of ui
Define and balance the ratings system to add leaderboards
Daily, weekly and monthly missions/objectives
Integrating a ton of decorations and assets
Millions of small bugs, some hard to detect or reproduce
And a lot of other stuff I've in the backlog
Who is behind it?
I’m Juan Albanesi, an Argentine dev living in Sweden who started making games back in 2006. I have bounced through agencies, mobile projects, and a couple of startups. Whenever I can, I return to my indie corner and last couple of years I’ve been pouring all that experience into Tincha.
How can I help?

Tincha is in active development and every suggestion counts. Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy every spin 🙂
