What do you think?

Under Linux, DaFT, you should use the famous curses.h or ncurses.h 'library'... between curses and ncurses, there is no difference since ncurses includes retrocompatibility, it behaves as the Curses library started at the endo of '70s. READ HERE: you go into a modern LInux like Ubuntu, open a console, and type:
man ncurses
you have there a good manual. then you can download my game programming manual, and pick the tetris_unix.c using the Curses library, so you can see... it does real-time interativity and fast text-screen redraw.... good luck....

cool... this you could port to LInux.... #:<)) that's a pity that a human face can be simualted with ascii characters, while aa TUX face cannot!

screenshots please.... so DaFT you into ascii-art console games? You used Tchar.h and windows.h, that "Console Application" option under Wind devprogs?

thanks :) however... Dont rate it xD Leave da space for a real games xD
