This is a retelling of Cave Story, where Toroko takes the hero's role instead of suffering a tragic fate..
You play as her in the shoes of a soldier mimiga, once born in the Mimiga village, now raised from the surface before being dispatched back to her home, where she is needed to save the village from a threatening trio:
Momorin, Balrog, and Itoh.
It is all up to Toroko to save the Village and Island for once, or for her to only fail in vain...
