What do you think?

nice game and definitely a cool idea, although there were a bit too many zombies which made it very hard to progress

Really fun and cool idea. Only problem, it says the player criticized the Vive and that's not something I'd do :)

Great concept and story! I wish there was a restart button and that the zombies werent so fast at finding me... I included it in my Meatly Jam 2016 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)

My entry for #meatlyjam 2016.

Important: hold 'r' to restart. I forgot to put that in the instruction slide!

In the year 2016, the long awaited third chapter of the famous Half-Life series was finally announced by Valve, to be released for free. The catch? It's an exclusive for the HTC Vive. On the surface this appeared to be nothing more than a trick to sell more VR headsets. And it worked. Due to the sheer amount of anticipation and hype around this release, millions of gamers around the world puchased Vives simply to play Half-Life 3. And then it happened. All of a sudden, players went berserk. Smashing windows, beating up and sometimes even killing loved ones. The ones who died were the lucky ones. As for the survivors (if they can even be called that), they awoke to find themselves trapped in Vives of their own. The insanity spread so quickly that by the time the military organized a containment effort, they were overwhelmed by millions of gamers wielding crowbars.

But there were a few of us who survived. Through our in-depth analysis of all the Vive's flaws on it's release, we managed to escape. We don't know if anyone else is alive out there, or if there's any way to stop this infection. All we can do is try to survive, and hope a cure can be found.

I'll improve this description later, but it should give you some sense of what the game is about. In short, it's a survival-horror game set in a world taken over by mind-controlled virtual reality users. Your goal is to reach Valve headquarters and shut down the mind-control signal, while avoiding becoming a virtual reality zombie. The game will be similar to the original DOOM/Wolfenstein 3D in terms of aesthetics, except spooky.
