I just played the game and...

...well, it was a bit dissapointing

in comparison to the quality of XP, this game falls flat with the new ideas it brings to the table. most of the new mechanics aren't actually new, they're just the characters from the original but edited with different behaviors, and the few actually new ones aren't inherently that interesting of a change either. let's take Kitty's mechanic from XP for example, you have to look at her to reset her kill timer on the right, this brung some challenge cuz now you never really knew if someone was at the left, it was interesting and actually affected the game in a way. but in 98? no such thing, the most interesting mechanic is shining the light on a character in the cameras to stall them in their extremely long, forgiving path. that's really it.

I also would like to mention the toxic and battery NEED to be tweaked, they never actually fill up/run out. in fact, I've NEVER seen the battery go below full bars, or the toxic go higher than half, the game is just so forgiving with 2 of these meters, and I can see them actually adding a bit more challenge if they were just made harder to manage. like think about it, lockjaw would probably be an actual threat and be more interesting if the flashlight lasted as long as fnaf 2

(oh and please change the way the AIs move, movement opportunities are stinky...)

Welcome to your new and exciting career! In The Return to Freddy's 2, you are taking the night-shift with Freddy and co. with some new additions. We have just brought in a puppet character with its own music box to replace the old flimsy gift-giving cat animatronic and an old friend returning with a fresh coat of paint!

As the security guard working nights, your job is to monitor the building and make sure nothing goes wrong after-hours. You are the first guard to work at this location. So to make your job easier, we will provide you with an instructor to guide you through your nights here at Fredbear's!
