This is such a fun version of the classic snake game. I was hoping to find some neat rhythm games for the jam and I'm glad I came across this one. Well done!

Hey, that snake had a will of it's own, never doing what I wanted....I'm sure my timing isn't that much off... Anyway, the rest of the game was very good, but the controls just ruin it a little bit... Sorry to say so. I'll just leave a vote for you!
Cool concept! As a rhythm game though, I think you need to give the player more leeway as opposed to having press the beat at the exact same moment. This would otherwise work when you have to press to all the beats, but since this is a snake game and you need to skip a few beats, it becomes hard to realign! Good work nevertheless!
This is a snake rhythm game. Listen to the beat and turn at the right time to get food.
PLAY THE DESKTOP VERSION: it's harder to control on the HTML5 vesion, and the background animation doesn't work.
How to play:
Use directionals to move (arrows, wasd, d-pad);
Eat food to grow;
Eat 25 pellets to spawn a powerup.
