I like the concept. I hope you develop it further and find a way to incorporate multiplayer (probably online?).

But the game is extremly hard due to the block appearing to quickly anywhere and the time limit being too short.

Nice music/sfx,screenshake,particles feedback for actions and outcomes (I like the stars too at round end). I like the button animations and fitting arcade scrolling background. Is that easy to do in gms? I think I've seen it in other games not that it takes away from it.
I'm not sure it fits the theme exactly since it's mostly a straight trivia game but who knows. I guess the twitch integration and two games at once gives it points there. Also it's neat that you can mod it (also dang that's a lot of questions :D).
Perhaps an easier set of questions or difficulty setting for solo mode would help?
All in all it's a polished execution, especially for a jam.

Description
An Alternative Arcade Game Show where you must answer 80's trivia while simultaneously playing an 80's arcade game.
Broadcast your own game show on Twitch and take advantage of your audience's collective 80's knowledge and arcade skill.
READ FIRST
Twitch Mode is disabled in the HTML5 browser version due to some last minute incompatabilities, sorry. Be sure to have the browser maximized or toggle full-screen/window mode by pressing 'F' if the game looks stretched.
Use the Windows version for the best experience.
Also be sure to disable pop-up blocker if you encounter trouble logging into Twitch through the game menu. The game opens your browser so you can login to Twitch.
Rules
You have 4 lives.
Correctly Answer 8 stupifying questions in 5 minutes!
Questions get increasingly harder the more you answer correctly as des the arcade machine.
If your avatar is hit in the arcade game, you lose a life and must go to the next question.
If you answer a question incorrectly, you lose a life.
The Twitch audience can cast votes for answers at any time. Votes are tallied and shown on the board. The player can choose to trust the audiences' guesses or pick their own answer.
If the audience correctly guesses an answer that the player chooses, you are awarded 1 life.
If you lose all your lives, the game ends, and your head explodes, sorry.
Controls
'F' toggles full-screen and windowed
'Esc' exits the game (on Windows)
'Enter' goes back to Main Menu while playing
'Spacebar' Restarts the game while playing
Keys 1,2,3,4 are used to answer corresponding questions.
Move the mouse to dodge enemies and bullets in the arcade game.
People watching in the Twitch chat can enter single digits (1-4) to vote for the answer they think is correct or type 'b' to fill a bomb meter which will clear the arcade board of enemies.
Mod It!
If you'd like to write your own trivia, you can replace the questions in the .ini file included in the Windows download.
