This is a tech demo showcasing the core mechanics. The game is in active development, and its appearance, balance, and content will change dramatically with each update.
How to play:
Mouse over to choose the throwing direction
RMB (first time) - throw the hook
RMB (second time) - release the hook
LMB - pull yourself toward the hook
What's already there:
Basic hook and swing physics
Retro-style claymation graphics
Several test levels to demonstrate gameplay
What is the game about?
Every day we accomplish small feats that no one sees: we keep working when we're exhausted, we hold on when we want to give up, we try again after a dozen failures. This game is about that feeling when you seem invisible to yourself.
The game is inspired by atmospheric projects like Neverhood and the philosophical narratives of Takopi's original sin.
Honestly, I don't expect to reach the level of these masters, but I will strive to create a story that will captivate.
