Undertale: Traitor is an ambiguous and provocative fangame conceived as the culmination of everything experienced and reinterpreted within this story. It is not an attempt to replicate the original, not another retelling of familiar events, but a deliberate break from the familiar way of perceiving it.

At the center of the narrative is the genocide route, walked alongside Chara. However, her goals are far from what one might expect, and the path itself changes dramatically. The world is distorted, familiar figures lose their clear-cut nature, and the player is stripped of the simple good-or-evil framework.

Undertale: Traitor is not a lighthearted genocide-run with just a couple of new events. The game does not pass moral judgment on genocide, nor does it attempt to impose a conclusion. Instead, it explores themes of perception, distorted expectations, and society’s tendency to simplify what is complex. This project is about ambiguity — about the fear of it, and about how easily profound ideas can be replaced with convenient labels.
