You play as a (boy or girl, you choose.) during the medieval period that lives in a small town located near a port by the ocean. As the character matures, they are sent on a quest by the king to journey all across the 8 realms to slay the evil beasts that are creating monsters. On the way, though, you collect pets called 'meeps', make some strange friends, and gain honor from almost every deity in the land.
