There is actually some backstory so here it is if you're interested : Sonic And Tails were usually best Friends until Tails realized that sonic was only using him only for Sonic to get his fans and People forgetting about tails, Tails was Sad and unhappy and now Hates Sonic BUT eggman appeared right infront of him, he offered him a better life without sonic tails took the offer but was that a big mistake?
