This is a well made game. There is not much gameplay, but the movement feels solid. I liked the story you told, it left many conclusions that could be drawn. It took me a second playthrough to fully realize where all the space shifting stuff happens, after I learned it from the ending of the first playthrough. It's a cool idea.
There is one typo, "Servants used this halls to move around" near the servants quarters.
If anyone is looking at this game and doesn't know if they want to give it a shot, not only do you not have to download anything, but it's also only about 5-8 minutes long. I definitely recommend snacking on this snack-sized game!
You should add some screenshots and or video to your media bar. A page banner would also make the page look much nicer :)
amazing game, just amazing. you should release it on a .exe and charge money i will definitly buy it
Alright, first things first, I love old school 2D pixelated games like this! Brings back memories of my Atari days... I mean, no, I'm not that old! Stop looking at me like I'm old!
Right, now that's out of the way let me go through some other feelings I had. I love the slow build-up of the story, slowing dropping hints room by room as you figure out more puzzles and mysteries.
The hidden passages were incredibly well concealed, and cleverly placed! I found myself looping back a few times before I realised what I was meant to do now and again, which is the sign of a well-made thinking game!
Finally (and SPOILER ALERT for anyone who hasn't played this yet... Even though ultimately nothing hugely spooky happens, the atmosphere is amazing! I always felt like there was someone, or something, watching me. I was hearing footsteps, I was imagining things following me... I was a paranoid wreck at times!
Awesome job all round, I had a great time playing this! Keep making amazing things! =)
I admit that I got lost inside the mansion. I have a lousy sense of direction, hahaha. The game invites to continue advancing. A small improvement in the graphics and it would be even better. Good job.
Explore an old manor where rooms change around you with every step. Space works in unexpected ways in here.
Game by Ludipe with music by PianoFortress. Made for Gothic Novel Jam.
The game probably needed more testing. Arrow keys and "X" is all you need to play. Fullscreen is highly encouraged (press F or click the button). Sound/music might take a bit to load.
