2025 Recap - My Proper entry to the FNaF Scratch community.

Happy new year!

I hope everybody else's 2025 was as good as mine, because oh boy- that was a year.

This year I finally got involved in the FNaF Scratch community, despite having been here for the last 5 years. Only this year did I properly enter the community and interact with others in it.

Additionally, this year I worked on plenty of games and got tons of progress made in my development!

Firstly, despite starting Scratch in 2020 making FNaF fangames, I only joined the community early this year when I joined the FNaF Dev Plaza discord server. I say this a lot and I won't stop saying it- you should join this server if you're a FNaF Scratch developer. It's super welcoming and awesome!

On this server I met so many people and had so many chats with them all, and I thank them so much for being so kind, considerate and welcoming. I don't even know if I'd remember all of them when listing them out, but here are a few I enjoyed talking to the most!

@Gamemaster_64 - You're one of the most fun and amazing people I've ever talked to, you helped bring the entire community back to life and continue to help developers in need of assistance and help in any way you can! You're one of the best critics and friends I know of!

@Nedum - You've been a friend that I can always talk to in vc, whether that be because your sleep schedule is fried or because you're just always here. You're somebody I can relate to and make jokes with any time! Thank you for being here, and thank you for hosting the FNaF Swap events that I've had the honour of partaking in!

@smelly_rat324 - I always like to hear about whatever game you're willing to let us all know about, and I'm always keen to seeing games you put out. You're a great dev and a great man to talk to in vc!

@_YF - You're one of the most fun people I know, and it's a great pleasure to be able to talk to you in vc! I know we haven't know each other very long, but I hope to get to know you more in the coming years! Also, I love your music!!!

@Aaronmaster125 - You're always great to have in a vc and I'm always interested in what you're making. Keep up the good work and keep doing what you love!

@bikewithnoseat - Though we've had a very limited amount of chats with each other, every single one has been so fun to have! I also must thank you for introducing me to all of the Turbowarp extensions that I now use, since it would have taken me much longer to find them if it weren't for you!

@ScribblGames - I haven't seen you in forever but working on our games competitively against each other in vc was some of the most fun I've had developing games in my life, and I hope we get to do something similar in the future!

@Solar-Neon - You're one of the most fun people to talk to, and you make REALLY cool games. Keep making what you love because you are very good at it and don't let anybody tell you otherwise!

If I didn't mention you here and you've talked to me on discord- don't worry. I still appreciate all of you for being so kind!

My time in this community has been great so far! I've partaken in game jams, FNaF Swap events and hopefully much more in the future. All of these people make every day better for me and I hope I can continue to talk with them in the future!

On another note, I've made lots of game development this year! I've worked on six projects:

Strange Journey Log has been my magnum opus of FNaF Scratch games for quite some time, and probably will be forever. It's a huge project that still isn't near completion- but I've been able to get the game out this year and am continuing to develop it into the future! Everybody I show the game to seems to love it, or are just simply blown away by the 65,000+ blocks used to code it. Either way, I've received such amazing compliments on the game and am so grateful that it's received as much praise as it has. I hope the best for this game as I continue to develop it!!

Lotto Down Below was the winning game jam game that I made in June, and it still blows me and everybody else away with how well the game turned out in such a short time period that it had taken to develop. This game was a true test of skill to develop, and it turned out amazing!

One Night in a Regular Warehouse wasn't just my project, but a collaborative project born from FNaF Swap 7 with 5 other developers! It's one of my favourite games to ever come out of the event and it was very fun to work on!

Terror exists.

Father's Return the musical the game begun development in December and is still in early development. I'd like to get it out around early-mid 2026.

And one other project began development less than a week ago. This project is SUPER SECRET... Unless you're on the FNaF Dev Plaza discord server, then it's common knowledge. Wanna know what it is?? Hmmmm?? You should join the server the find out!! I'll be revealing the project in a bit, once it's ready enough.

Overall, 2025 was one of my best years! I met so many amazing people and that was certainly one of the biggest highlights for me. I love being a part of this community, and I'll continue to be for many years going forwards. Thanks for reading this post, and have a happy new year!
