a feature I've been thinking about adding is an automatic leveling system option, so when you level up it automatically picks a stat and applies it with two sub classes to determine which stats get more emphasis. optional if people like manual. thoughts?

The deeper you go, the darker it gets...

in case you need the controls layout until we're able to update it. gameplay hint; don't underestimate how useful a well timed dodge roll can be 😉.

took all day but it's all in now. every level gives one point in every stat, and your playstyle will affect your characters stats as well. swinging a sword increases strength, hitting enemies increases sword ability, etc.

I'm bad at predicting time frames 😆 every time i think we've only got a few weeks left, something pops up to steal my focus lol... we're still making progress though, getting the village updated, combat reworked a bit, and ai improvements.

some of the ledges and torches that help guide the path now. definitely much easier to find the right path/climb the towers now.

I have yet to beat the boss without taking damage, he always gets me at least once lmao. maybe you can do better :D

Reworked some of the farming systems to help a bit with more accurate placement. so now the player can walk when they're tending the garden and the hit locator will change colors depending on if it hits something else or not.

Finally got some icons for the craftables and decorations, so here's a little video of decorating the homestead.

We haven't left, We haven't forgotten, and we haven't given up. The remake of "The Code" has entered the QA phase and will be ready soon. when it's ready we'll post a link here to the new page.

We're launching a demo for our game "From the Heartlands" soon, if you'd like to check it out we have a page for it here on gamejolt now 😀. Heal the land, build up your homestead, help your neighbors and fight back the Witherbark.

Dialogue is in, with conditional checks and branching options as well, its feeling more like a game already
