Honestly I didn't have a time saving tool, I build everything from scratch. Itโ€™s more work, but itโ€™s the best way to make sure my #Sonic physics feel just right. #Devruary

For my current game, I've moved from Pocket Code to GameMaker Studio. It was a great place to start on my phone, but GMS gives me the power I need to really nail those #Sonic physics and speed thanks to help from others Devs too. #Devruary

Bad habits? None yet! ๐ŸŒ€ Starting on Pocket Code meant I was always learning. Iโ€™m focused on forming good habits like staying consistent and taking feedback rather than looking back. Every line of code is still a new lesson! #Sonic #Devruary #SEGA

(SPOILER IN ARTICLE, ig.)

Anyways, i hope you like it

My best dev habit? Playing other #Sonic fangames. It helps me see what works, find fresh ideas, and keeps me inspired to keep building.

Speaking of fangames, go play Sonic J by @jtn00b

Available on Android/PC!

I've finally finished @gamejolt origami logo for @thoro and @CROS <3

My favorite part of gamedev is playing them. Nothing beats the feeling of finally testing a level and seeing the #Sonic physics click into place. Specially with Sonic J by @jtn00b , It makes the work worth it! Thanks Jean!

My least favorite part is ofc, finding bugs that ruins my experience. It can be so frustrating when the #Sonic physics don't behave or I find a glitch sprite asset but solving them is the only way to get that smooth gameplay. #Devruary #Sonic #SonicJ

Rudolph Richardson!

(From Ghost Eyes)

Making character movement and the HUD took way longer than I thought doing that in Pocket Code for Sonic 3 Mobile back when I started, it was a huge challenge without a PC.
