Hello everyone :-)
Today we want to show you some improvements we’ve made to the feedbacks in the game that add some satisfying touches of polish. Since animated pictures will be much more effective than many words, we made some gifs for you to catch a glimpse of these new effects.
Let’s start with the movement boosts. To give the player a feeling of actually boosting forward, we affected the field of vision when accelerating, coupled with some “motion blur” lines at the edges of the screen (unfortunately the gif compression makes them hard to see here):

Now for the cut tool. We improved the design of the blade and added some trails:

Then here’s a look at a new feedback for when the player hits the ground after a fall. Look at the center of the picture and you’ll notice the impact aftershock:
