Hey everyone! Wowie, how on earth has it been half a year since our last post? Genuinely, it feels like it hasn't been that long, my god. We've just wanted to publish a quick update to explain the current situation, and in particular what happened around a little less then a month ago now.
Basically, my laptop began experiencing severe issues early this year, and became inoperable, resulting in me having to try and get it repaired. This has been taking a large amount of time, and so I'm being forced to use a heavily underpowered backup PC, which cannot handle Popgoes 2 in it's in-development state. Due to this, work has not been able to continue, since I am the only programmer and person able to render the contents of the game.
We actually were writing up an update last month, and we even had a full internal roadmap to launch, but unfortunately all of that is on hold now due to the PC situation. We thought it would only take a week or two, but instead it has been taking several weeks, hence why we're scrapping the other update (for now) and just writing up this one. We will eventually talk about all the mountains of progress we've made, but for now this unfortunately is all we can share.
Once the laptop is repaired and sent back, work will (hopefully) continue from there, and we can get an update out to you guys on the roadmap ahead. The only thing I will confirm in advance is that we're very far along, and while there is still work to be done, we're very close to the finish line.

Edit: Just to provide some additional clarification to avoid confusion, don't worry! No progress has been lost or anything, all the data was backed up onto external drives (yes, plural, we heavily focus on keeping our data safe and backed up), so the game hasn't lost progress, progress has just been halted.
