A short post about the development


I'll make this as quick as I can for everyone. Basically I'm doing things in this order:

  1. Making a test game to make sure I can code this (Will release later today or tomorrow)

  2. Writing a (simple) story and concepts for animatronic repair sections (night mechanics are fully conceptualized)

  3. Making all the artwork I need

  4. Coding

No. 1 is almost done, and No. 2 won't take more than a day or two. The artwork shouldn't be too bad either (maybe a week? It won't look too complex) and finally is the coding. My best estimate is anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months (I've never really made anything to this scale)

I have an idea of the story. Once I expand it to stretch the 7 (or at least 5) Nights, I'll start the Repair sequence concepts and after that I'll start coding (I've changed my mind and will make the art simultaneously with the game)

Here's the test game!

This was made in its entirety (including conceptualisation and all) in the last 24 hours

Suffice to say, SNBM will be a LOT more polished (and have cursor controls over key binds)
