Seven Nights Before Motorducks is a typical self-insert fangame of Five Nights at Freddy's


Gameplay


The game consists of 2 main parts:

  1. Animatronic repair

  2. Defending from the animatronics at night

  • Over the first 4 nights, you repair the animatronics that will appear later in the night by following simple instructions from your tablet.

  • After you are told how to fend off the animatronic added, the night shift begins.


Story

A week before Motorducks Inc. open their new vegan-friendly restaurant, the animatronic characters start to malfunction and hurt the staff. You play as a failed engineer down on his luck - until he gets a message from the manager about fixing the animatronics for a hefty pay check and an advertisement in the newspaper paid by the company.

Although you'll have to live there with the lockdown system in place, a huge check and recognition for your skills in sight helps you decide to spend the 7 nights fixing the animatronics, not knowing the perilous task ahead of you...

Q. When will it release?

A. Probably Sometime before 2025


Q. Can I play this on mobile?

A. Yup! Although it won't be optimised for it, this game should be playable on anything that can run HTML 5


Q: What content is planned?

A: The typical 5 Night "story mode" will be in the game as well as a more challenging Night 6 and a Custom Night (with a bunch of challenges to spice up the gameplay)

There will also be the repair sections before each night inspired by Help Wanted 1

And trophies if you count them as "content"


Q: How many animatronics are in the game?

A: In the Main story has 4 with a new one appearing every night until Night 5


Q: What engine will this game use?

A: Turbowarp (a Scratch mod)


Q: What program do you use for the art?

A: pixilart.com, however it has gotten very buggy over the years (at least for me). I'd recommend finding another one. I'm just too comfortable with it to switch

Comical Shenanigans

Decided to share the animatronic and camera concepts just for fun

I have an idea of the story. Once I expand it to stretch the 7 (or at least 5) Nights, I'll start the Repair sequence concepts and after that I'll start coding (I've changed my mind and will make the art simultaneously with the game)

Suffice to say, SNBM will be a LOT more polished (and have cursor controls over key binds)
