I made this drawing in tribute to my best friends since forever, we’ve been there for each other through hard times and would basically be considered childhood friends. She’s a very special person to me as we have never argued in all ten years of our amazing friendship. I love you, girly! 💜

About The Drawing?

The drawing displayed a simplified, cartoony version of my artstyle to symbolise how simple our friendship started off as and how it grew over time. It’s simple yet I wanted to show how close we are.

The drawing contains the name of the song ‘Deviltown’ by Cavetown, this is because it’s a song we heavily associate with our friendship and has kind of stuck that way. It also depicts many struggles we’ve faced throughout our lives which I thought was fitting, the image itself displays the lyrics

“..hold my hand tight, we’ll make it another night. I still get a little scared of something new, but I feel a little safer when I’m with you… falling doesn’t feel so bad when I know your fallen this way too!” We both love this line.
