As much as I love to interact with you guys, and as fun as it is to share our thoughts and whatnot on the silly robot bear game, I really can't with the overly toxic and vocal minority of fans and creators saying the shit they say. It's been REALLY hard to keep my cool, and I thought that because it's Christmas people would at least chill for a while, but I was wrong. Now I will continue to support Five Nights at Freddy's and it's many community members, and I will still be working on the "Final Hours - REBOOTED" series, and YES I will gladly take criticism and all that, but I will NOT tolerate ANY toxic behavior from this community anymore. It's genuinely been eating away at me since I started to get into the programming stuff for this game. I've been almost SCARED to work on this game at times because of said toxic fans, and even though I have apologized in advance if the game isn't good to you or up to some people's standards, I still feel like some rando YouTuber with thousands of subscribers is gonna shit talk me and make me out to be some kind of horrible person for not being a great game dev, or that i shouldn't be making games at my younger age or some other stupid bs.
What I'm saying is, I feel like the super vocal toxic fans have been changing the way people view this community, and that said toxic minority has influenced many. I mean people outside and inside the fandom hate this community for a reason. It's made many devs and creators like me afraid that they might underdeliver or straight up be some kinda screw-up. This doesn't just apply to FNaF, this applies to all sorts of other communities and fandoms, many of which are fandoms I am also a part of (like Undertale, Deltarune, the furry fandom, and many more I can't list off the top of my head). I hope going forward into the new year these vocal minorities can take a chill pill, and that being a part of FNaF's fandom, or ANY fandom for that matter, can become more enjoyable and fun for everyone.
this is me signing off, hope y'all had a drink or a snack whilst reading because this was long as hell lol.
Edit, I AM NOT talking about those people who actually have the decency to give criticism, in fact I love when people give proper kind critique. I'm talking about those who use criticism as an excuse to say mean or hurtful things, or people who just say mean shit in general.
