About the maturity rating... (article)


Hey again! If you haven't already noticed, Home Invasion is rated mature, when it was originally rated teen. Why make this change? Because I think it better reflects my intentions for the game.

To be more transparent (and less vague), my fondness for slasher films like Halloween and Scream has bled (no pun intended) over to this game. Therefore, I find it only appropriate for the level of violence in this game to be on par with what can be found in those films. Basically, expect a lot of bloodshed and maybe a tad bit of gore, but nothing that would be considered too extreme (not trying to make a Saw game or anything).

I will be pinning this post so anyone who stumbles upon this page can read it for more context. Thank you so much for your time! :) -The Dev
