“After the Fire (Lake + Haiden) Au”

Sleeping Arrangements


  1. Entire image of all the nesting arrangements.

  2. Without the children - Lucas and Ashley have not yet been retrieved, Haiden gets broody over Lake instead, making sure he’s well rested and fed. Haiden is the one to take care of the nest and do “household chores” while Lake goes off to gather food. Both of them make deals with people though Haiden has less due to him being picky with who he makes deals with. Lake has a few bad habits left over from when he was an animatronic so doesn’t eat or sleep much, Haiden through exposure to Lucas does and make sure Lake does too.

  3. Haiden with the children - Haiden’s now in full brooding behaviour, protecting the children while Lake goes hunting for food for them all. Lake has to take extra care to not be seen while looking for food for Lucas and Ashley, having to break into shops to get food and dodge cameras. Luckily since he’s very fast and stealthy he’s able to dodge the camera view, plus his demonic presence screws up the camera feeds anyway.

  4. Everyone, Ashley and Lucas getting used to Lake - An arrangement Haiden came up with to allow Lake in the nest without Ashley and Lucas get distressed. Haiden acts as a physical barrier between them all, using both his wings to keep everyone warm.

  5. Everyone - Now that Lucas and Ashley no longer fear Lake everyone sleeps together in the nest in a big pile. Lucas and Ashley are sandwiched between the two demonic animatronics for maximum protection and warmth, especially since Montreal’s weather gets very cold.

Demon!Haiden’s behaviour is slightly feral, he gets very broody and will build a nest to sleep in, roping the others in too and sort of sitting on them like a bird incubating eggs.

To Demon!Haiden, Lucas and Ashley are his children, so he acts accordingly.

The sizes are inconsistent because these are just example sketches, it’s not 100% accurate to the sleeping positions they all take in the nest as Haiden prefers to cover the other three with his entire body. Mostly for protection, warmth and safety.

(2/11) - Cosmic Haiden Bonanza/Ewan Guinness

In the hype for both Pokémon Legends Z-A and The Magic Hour coming out this year, I thought it would be funny to make a Crossover/Au with Haiden as Xerneas and Lake as Yveltal.

(Had to adjust the image to fit the size limit of Gamejolt.)

Demon!Haiden’s behaviour is a mix of human, owl, bear and oddly enough that of a cats.

While he’s only cat levels of asshole around people he doesn’t like, there are certain other cat like behaviours he indulges in.

Lucas is not amused.

I decided to do it as a sketch because I didn't feel like coloring it. I'm getting used to doing it as a storyboard, but this is a simple sketch that I must try.

Some of the shenanigans I got up to on the community drawing whiteboard, it’s not all of them and there will be more coming as soon as I get permission from the other people I drew them with.
