An odd update

So, the game hasn’t gotten an update in a while. So does that mean it’s cancelled? Not really! However, to make it more likely that we’ll be able to get the project out in a reasonable time-frame, we’re going to downgrading the graphical style (and hopefully improving the sprites themselves) to GameBoy style in the future.

We don’t have any mockups of what this will look like for the overworld and such yet, but we do have a few sprites. Don’t expect any further progress for a while now, let’s just say a few other projects unexpectedly got in the way of this and those are a much, much higher priority. It’ll probably be a while before you see this game get finished as a result, but once it’s done, it’ll probably be worth the wait.

Sorry to have to send you something of a downer update, but do stay tuned, we may be posting sprites and such here every now and then, and hey, we may even continue the Compositrons Kooky Version webcomic in a simpler-to-maintain style!

The current progress on the battle engine (yeah, it's not much)

Even more progress on the battle engine (yeah, it's still pretty early on, it isn't really playable yet, but at least the layout is pretty close to done)

Compositrons Kooky Version: Issue 2 (TIP: Just because something is small doesn't mean it can't breath fire)

Currently trying to make the out of bounds areas in the upcoming (and eventual, please have a bit of patience, this may take a while) update look a bit cooler via unusual skyboxes and using a fade to transparency instead of a fade to black for fog.

...?

Oh, did you think this was dead...?

...nah, but it was on hiatus.

I can't promise any kind of release date on anything here. Just can say I'm trying to get some more progress done now. Might actually release this update some day... maybe...

More progress on the battle engine

This Satuday we invite to watch another #speedpainting of our artist Daniel Faiad.

How great is this scene of #Pecaminosa?
