Hello there, it's been a while, hasn't it?
7 months is no joke, and as much as you might expect an update that will finally give you news about how the fangame is going...
I'm afraid it isn't good news I'm bringing forth to you all.
My name is Dan, I'm the director of this project, and I feel like it would be fair to name myself the brain behind this operation, because not only was all of the art being done by me, but also the entire writing and conceptualization of the au is also being done by me.
HIGHROLL is my swapfell take, to put it simple.
And ever since I decided to give me and my team a hiatus so we could focus on other projects and the likes, I've worked a lot on the concept department of Highroll. Slowly, surely, but I have, and by thinking of more and more things I could add to wrap the take into something I'd find unique, and a proper rebirth of swapfell...
I've found what I was intentionally intending to do in this fangame to not be enough for the proportions Highroll is taking. The take is big, and there's gonna be so much more stuff outside the "Papyrus fight" that made me feel like it'd be pointless to make a fangame just centered around his fight.
And you might be wondering.
"But Dan, if that's the case, why don't you make a full game then?"
As much as I'd love with all of my heart to do that, I can't, and there's a few reasons for that.
First reason is that I just can't put that much effort into a full length undertale fangame. Undertale is a massive game content wise and specially writing wise, and to make a fangame of it would be way too much work for me. Specially since I've been trying to build a career elsewhere, away from the undertale community.
Second is that, I don't think I'd ever be able to form a team who would also manage to handle the amount of work there would be needed for a fangame. I could barely find people to make this short little fangame, imagine a full length one! Haha.
And last is that... I have so much stuff I want to make, even on the undertale community itself, that trying to make a full length game of one of my aus would be nearly impossible.
So listen.
I am sorry for having to scrap this project once more. I know there's a few people following that discovered this page through the cancelled build my old coder posted.
But this time, it isn't getting cancelled for a stupid reason, or anything of the likes.
I just think it'd be better to develop this au in another way.
Because yes, as much as this fangame will cease production, the take itself will still very much be made! As I mentioned, I've been still working on it on this hiatus, and I want to show it.
Thank you for everyone that followed this page until this point. Thank you for my team members who had put all the effort they could into the game.
But it's time ran out.
Love you all.

A place of blasphemy.
Obey the lord.
First one out of the batch of updates you all should be expecting to see. This one will be overall just to give an insight on how much stuff we already have done for the game.
Biblically accurate Swapfell Papyrus.
Climb the mountain.
A fine piece of art, if I say so myself.
Second development toll! So sorry for the wait, I know I said the next one would be posted soon on my last post, but it took me a good while to get motivated to come here and write another huge post for yall lol. So lets get to it!
Third Development update, now under the name of Development Stop! Yes, the bus is gonna be in the game. But anyways, let's get to it eh?
Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂
What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔
