Android Updated, 1.3.3 Patch Notes

Hello everybody! The Android port has been updated to include both the features from the computer versions of 1.3.2 (check the last post) and 1.3.3. 1.3.3 was released to finally package for Linux, as well as just more death messages and a fix for rebinding keys. I kind of worked on those before packaging for Linux, so I just included them for all the versions.

Android-exclusive features from the last build (1.3.1-A16) include readding the building walls because I found a way to optimize the level to work on mobile. This optimization was taken from the computer version. I also updated the lighting of the whole building and the office lights are noticeable when Light Stealer takes them. This was on my to-do list and I finally fixed it.

The way character icons on Android work is it's a toggle for all of them at once. Mouse tracking was a huge pain on the computer and touch input tracking was even worse, to the point where nothing I did worked right. But since even mobile players need icons, I just used the ones from the computer version and added it as a toggleable overlay.

Those are just the main things, but there were also a few bug fixes and improvements. And now, I am satisfied where both versions of When Bad Things Arrive, so I will go back to focusing on other games of mine. But if there's ever a bug you encounter, leave a comment and I'll make sure to check it out before the next release, whenever that may be

Until next time!

Which may be a different game of mine, like Independence or One Man Army...

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
