ANNOUNCEMENT:

9 Till Void will be releasing on May 19th!

It'll be $8.99 with a 20% off launch discount.

I'm really proud of how it came out! I think it's definitely my best game yet (as I always say when I finish a new game). I hope y'all give it a chance!

I spent basically the last 2 months of dev playtesting and iterating on the design. The is just so much better because of that, and the difficulty has been toned down quite a lot for new players. So if you struggled with the difficulty of the demo, please still give the full game a shot!

The demo is still very much representative of the play experience, so definitely try that to get a feel for how the game will play. Just know that the full game has difficulty options and is much more beginner friendly. It also has a much harder master difficulty for those itching for more challenge!

See you in 10 days :)

9 Till Void is going to get a free public demo on Saturday, February 29th! (It's a leap year, if you've forgotten!)

The demo will feature the first 2 areas of the game in full.

Menu system of the future! #Nojong

I'm currently making a Tetris + Mahjong hybrid game called #Nojong. Match colored blocks in the field to make clears. After a number of clears, the blocks left in your hand are scored, so you want to try and keep triples and quadruples in your hand.

I'm developing a new commercial game with a small team! A demo will be coming to steam soon, but you can wishlist it in the meantime if you're into deckbuilding / autobattlers / roguelikes!

Nojong, an arcade mashup of Tetris and Mahjong is out now!

Sorry for the double post if you follow me as well as this game. i meant to just post this to this game anyway though. so here it is again!

Wonder if anyone can guess what kinda game I'm working on right now with this GameJolt session data as the only clue. I bet someone can sleuth it out!

For some reason, it's really hard to change the alpha value of a tile layer in GameMaker. You can do this easily for sprite or instance layers, but not tile layers. So here's a video on how to easily update the alpha value of tile layers in real time.
