Hey, it's QSV speaking, once again.
First off, good news. Tales of Underlegends has survived the intense weather that has hit my region of the country. I'm now coming back to making it as I haven't done anything on it for a week.
I've also reworked all of the soul mechanics that I plan to use in this game. These were based off of the other projects that I had done, which used said souls (go play Siblings Redemption, and then play this when it comes out, just so that you can see how much better they really are).
Now I have the perfect Undertale-based engine to work with for making future chapters. There may be one or two more extra things added into the mix, but that all really depends on feedback from the community.
There are so many features in this game that I'm still not even 20% done with Chapter 1 yet. The dialogue is almost finished, and the story is just about done. I was probably a little bit too optimistic about a summer release, so to ensure that I can work on this project as nicely and safely as possible, I'm going to COMPLETELY get rid of deadlines. Though, a lot can change in the span of a few months, so it might be met after all. But again, I'm not sure.
I'm starting to feel more confident about this game now, seeing I've been working on this for just over a year.
TL;DR - progress on the game has picked up a little bit more, but I'm still a bit uncertain about potential release dates. Reworks are better than what I did before. I'll probably put a teaser poster out with a date on it when the game is just about ready for release.
