Area 86 DevLog #7


Beep!
Congrats on entering year 2018!

Had some productive days and ready to share some progress.

Level 2 for “Zone 1” is functionally completed and works from start to finish.
It includes 3 main tasks and 5 side tasks. And of course 3 hidden special items!
Now that the functional part is done, time to get back to Blender madness and create all visuals for it!
Like visuals and functional would not be enough in todo, there is also a list of sounds that are missing for the new level.
And you would not believe it but after all the visual, functional and sound work - I managed to make my life more complicated by adding new UI elements [ which are glued together with placeholders ] which need proper visuals too!

This is how the level looks at current state:

Discovery:
I like to think that numbers have special powers so let me tell you a quick discovery of first 2 levels.

Level 1 has 6 tasks.
Level 2 has 8 tasks.
When you put them together and switch places, you get 86 :D Wooooot !!!

I made a present for you!

Fixed little bugs and uploaded a new Area 86 demo version with a pumpkin feature!

[ You can enable pumpkin mode under Options -> Others ]

It's time to release the pre-release demo version!

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity
