We’re back once again!
Sorry for the delay. This Devlog was supposed to come out last month, but with the Undertale anniversary, Silksong’s release, and a few other things going on, we decided to publish it this month instead.
Alright then! Let’s get to the news! ;D
We’re still working on the new Skullrune comic:

And in case someone hasn’t seen it yet: here’s the previous one!

This time, we want to focus on the future.
Up until now, we’ve mostly talked about Chapter 1, with a few small hints about what comes next. Well, today we want to dive a bit deeper into the upcoming chapters, to build some hype and clear up a few doubts...

Yes! Noelle and Berdly will appear in this chapter! And they’ll be main characters, just like in the original game!
We wanted to show this because we know some people might wonder:
“Wait, if Noelle and Berdly aren’t on HomeIsland… will they appear in the fangame?”
And the answer is a loud and clear: YES!
Their origins —and how things unfold— will be completely different.

Here, the protagonists will be the skeleton brothers!
The comics act as a prequel that explains where these unique brothers are now.
Sans and Papyrus will have a level of importance similar to Undertale, even more so than in Deltarune. (Here, Papyrus will appear right from the very beginning.)
This chapter will undoubtedly be the most ambitious one yet.
It’ll also be quite long, not because of the gameplay, but because of the story itself and how the narrative structure is designed.

Take a look at this; the menu background:

You can even download it if you want to use it as a wallpaper! ^^
Now then, we also have new designs for the Inquisitors:

And not only that, we also have new NPCs:

Lastly... we decided to remake the logo once again.
Yes, for the third time!

We feel like it fits much better with what we’re doing now.
What do you think? ^^

We’ve already shown you what the menu would look like, but now... see for yourself:

We’re currently working on these interfaces. There’s still a lot to polish, but little by little we’re getting closer to the final results we’ve been aiming for.
Also, take a look at this:

We’ll be showing more progress in the future! ^^

Over the past few months, we’ve tried to make as much progress as possible, and yes, we’ve made plenty of advances and things are going really well. However…
There won’t be a demo this year.
But there WILL be one in 2026!

Why? Well, even though we already have some parts finished, programming is still a challenge. We’ll also need to test everything, fix bugs, and possibly add new content in art, animations, music, and more.
We hope you can understand this decision. Either way, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience but we want to do things right, not release a half-finished or broken game just to meet a deadline.
And well… that’s all for now!
See you again in two months! ^^
