On a sidenote from this input system rework, we're currently grinding to have the game reach functional completion, here's some stuff we've done along that journey
Full overworld re-work, now more versatile than before
@JMaster209 made our battle expressions! they'll display if you didn't turn on the classic mode, which gives you a somewhat nostalgic UT/DR experience, disabling the separated slots, and limiting you on inventory space- the aforementioned expressions WILL change if you decide to commit some actions you and Einar will regret later.
Started massive overhaul of save/load menu (this would be revision 3! including copying and erasing straight in the menu, just like in Deltarune ^^)
Working towards revising some maps to make them more interactive than before, deviating from the layout of the ruins for the sake of offering a more unique experience.
Implementing cats??? (maybe, you'll have to wait and see!)
